Warren Consolidated Schools is seeking applicants for Proctors. 

 

Dates:  Various Dates During School Year & Summer

Times:  8:30am - 4:00pm

Location:  Various District Buildings

 

Description:  

 

Upon completion of training and certification requirements, proctors will administer the following assessment(s) as needed:

 

 

Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Summative Assessments:  Administered to students in grades 3-11 who have been identified to complete the SAT, PSAT, WorkKeys, MSTEP, and/or MI-Access.  Students complete assessments in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and/or Social Studies.   The required area(s) of assessment vary by grade level and identified assessment(s).

 

WIDA Screener: Administered to students in grades 1-12 with an identified language on the home language survey and who have been identified to complete WIDA Screener. Students answer questions in four domain areas: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students will complete the assessment online or via paper/pencil format.

 

WIDA Access: Administered to students in grades 1-12 with an identified language on the home language survey and who have been identified to complete WIDA Access. Students answer questions in four domain areas: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students will complete the assessment online (students in grades 1-3 will take the paper/pencil component for writing).

 

WIDA Alternate: Administered to students in grades 1-12 with an identified language on the home language survey and who have been identified to complete the WIDA Alternate. Students answer questions in four domain areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This assessment is paper/ pencil and is administered 1:1.

 

W-APT: Administered to students in Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten with an identified language on the home language survey and who have been identified to complete the W-APT. Students answer questions in four domain areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This assessment is paper/pencil and is administered 1:1.

 

Brigance Early Childhood Screener: This district assessment is administered to students entering Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten who have been identified to take the Brigance.  The Brigance assesses the mastery of key skills (13 Core Assessments) of Kindergarten students. 

 

Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA): Administered to students in grades TK/K who have been identified to take the KRA. The KRA is aligned to essential domains of school readiness and is designed to determine student’s skills and abilities as they enter Kindergarten.  The KRA is composed of three item types: selected-response, performance-tasks, and observational-rubric.

 

Other District Administered Assessments: Administered to students in grades TK-12 who have been identified to complete the NWEA and/or Test Out.   Students complete assessments in a variety of areas.  The required area(s) of assessment vary by grade level and identified assessment(s).

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and fulfill proctor requirements, or substitute permit, or Teaching Certificate preferred 
  • Complete required training/certification prior to administering each assessment
  • Previous proctor experience is preferred
