Social Studies Teacher

0.4 MSVPA/0.6 Warren Mott High School

(MSVPA: Middle Schoool Visual and Perfroming Arts, Located at Butcher Educational Center)

1.0 FTE

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement required

Qualifications specific to MSVPA:

• Serve as a collaborative member of the MSVPA team that coordinates, designs and evaluates curriculum and programs for the MSVPA as well as seeks out grant funding, attends professional learning seminars, and is current with best practices in teaching and learning
• Serve as a collaborative member of the MSVPA team that seamlessly integrates technology into content areas through hands on projects, performances, and higher-level learning outcomes
• Serve as a collaborative member of the MSVPA and Warren Consolidated Schools Performing Arts programs and must participate in production preparation and execution

The 0.4 FTE at MSVPA will remain a Schedule C position that will be paired with another secondary building for a full 1.0 FTE allocation going forward.  Please reference the WEA Master Contract for further information.
